FAQ on Service

Do the services have to be carried out by the dealer where the bike was purchased?
No. They can be done by any dealer in the official service network.

Is the Ducati warranty valid at all official dealers?
Yes. For your safety, and to preserve the validity of the warranty and the value of your bike, Ducati highly recommends that you always refer to the official Ducati service network.

What kinds of damage are covered by the warranty?
All those which Ducati verifies and recognises as deriving from manufacturing faults.

Is the warranty cover valid outside my country too?
Yes, it is valid worldwide.

Is DIY (Do It Yourself) maintenance allowed?
In order to protect your warranty rights, only the procedures described in the use and maintenance manual are allowed.

Does the warranty cover transfer to a new owner? How do we make the new situation official?
The duration of the warranty period is not affected by the number of owners the bike has during that time. Each of them in turn must complete the “First Change of Ownership” slip (which they can find in the Warranty Handbook) and send it with a copy of the registration document, for the attention of Customer Services, to this fax number (+61)-02-9748 3642 or to the following address:
